Responsibilities will include:
• Coordinating tasks according to priorities and plans
• Ensure manpower and resources are adequate for the day’s tasks.
• Allocate general and daily responsibilities
• Communicate personnel, materials needs and project progress to CM and/or PM
• Monitor crew attendance
• Complete daily paperwork
• Run daily toolbox health and safety meetings
• Implement our strict Health & Safety policies and procedures and ensure all relevant documentation is complete;
• Supervise all subcontractors and vendor deliveries;
• Interface with clients where required;
• Manage and guide the use of all machinery and equipment
• Help monitor expenditures / track deliveries
• Effectively resolve any emerging problems and/or issues
• Understanding the environmental aspect of operations and working in environments where impacted soils and/or chemicals of concern may be present.
• Manage on-site QA/QC;
• Maintain As-Builts and project related reporting & documentation;
• Keep accurate dailies and develop a data/photo log of the project for use as back up and as marketing / business development collateral;
• Mentor construction staff to develop core crews and create career development paths;
• Be willing and able to physically demonstrate and/or participate in construction tasks where required;
• Perform other field duties if and when required.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 5 years hands-on construction experience, with at least 2 of those years leading teams in the field.
• Excellent knowledge of construction operations and equipment.
• Ability to clearly understand construction drawings and blueprints.
• Hazwoper 40hr certification or current 8hr Refresher required to perform day-to-day activities. If no Haz 40 at time of interview, the successful applicant can take the training for this certification.
• Demonstrable experience in working in complex projects and to high specifications;
• Analytically minded and able to troubleshoot effectively in real-time;
• Excellent directional, communication, diplomacy and negotiation skills in both client and employee dialogue;
• Understanding of Health and Safety criteria, especially in an Environmental setting;
Responsibilities will include:
• Heavy Equipment Operation.
• Wear all required PPE at all times.
• Checking equipment daily to ensure it is in a safe working condition.
• Follow all health and safety best practices.
• Communicate safely and effectively with all team members.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Provide suggestions to refine workflow and boost efficiency.
• Understanding the environmental aspect of operations and working in environments where impacted soils and/or chemicals of concern may be present.
• Perform other field duties when required.
Requirements:
• Demonstrably proficient in heavy construction equipment operation.
• Understanding of Health and Safety criteria, especially in an Environmental setting.
• Be able to read, take verbal direction and understand instructions in English.
• Ability to work extended hours as required.
• Able to pass background check and drug test and hold a valid driving license.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Hazwoper 40hr certification or current 8hr Refresher required to perform day-to-day activities. If no Haz 40 at time of interview, the successful applicant can take the training for this certification.
Responsibilities will include:
• Accurate pipe measurement and installation.
• Verify proper installation and perform quality control.
• Ability to communicate clearly to all team members.
• Ensure work areas are in safe condition prior to work.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Understanding the environmental aspect of operations and working in environments where impacted soils and/or chemicals of concern may be present.
• Perform other field and office duties if and when required.
Requirements:
• Hands-on construction experience.
• Experience working with various piping materials of varying diameters.
• Understanding the use of leveling and measurement devices.
• Understanding of Health and Safety criteria, especially in an Environmental setting.
• Be able to read, take verbal direction and understand instructions in English.
• Ability to work extended hours as required.
• Able to pass background check and drug test and hold a valid driving license.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate hand tools above head height.
• Able to safely perform labor intensive tasks throughout a busy day.
• Hazwoper 40hr certification or current 8hr Refresher required to perform day-to-day activities. If no Haz 40 at time of interview, the successful applicant can take the training for this certification.
Responsibilities will include:
• Using shovels, digging bars, brooms for manual potholing and excavations.
• Traffic control duties and construction zone housekeeping.
• Equipment and excavation spotting, including working near heavy equipment.
• SWPPP controls installation.
• Dust control.
• Install shoring, work in trenches, pipe installation.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Understanding the environmental aspect of operations and working in environments where impacted soils and/or chemicals of concern may be present.
• Perform other field and office duties if and when required.
Requirements:
• Hands-on construction experience.
• Understanding of Health and Safety criteria, especially in an Environmental setting.
• Be able to read, take verbal direction and understand instructions in English.
• Able to pass background check and drug test and hold a valid driving license.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate hand tools above head height.
